Beech Class Autumn walk

Beech have spent two weeks looking at Barn Owls and how their habitats are under threat. We have linked it to a change in farming and living styles. The children have written fact files and as a finale dissected a pellet to see what animals an owl would have eaten in one night. They were very surprised to find more than one skull usually in each pellet. They then created their own vole/mice/shrew skeletons.
